This 1988 BMW E28 M5 is one of 1,340 examples produced for the North American market. This Bavarian rarity was the ultimate sedan in its day and now it is a sought-after collectors car. This was the first-ever BMW M5, and it shook the automotive industry.



It is powered by a 3.5-litre inline-six with individual throttle bodies rated for 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 280 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Braking is handled by ventilated front and solid rear discs with ABS, and the Suspension is fitted with Bilstein shocks.



The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 16? basketweave alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, heated power-adjustable front seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. this example also features tri-colour pinstripes, front and rear spoilers, an electric sunroof, fog lights, and a dual-outlet exhaust system.



This M5 features a Black "Schwarz" exterior colour. The interior features Natur leather upholstery throughout with matching carpets and a gray headliner. It's also equipped with a Three-spoke M-Tech steering wheel, M-Tech seats, and M-Tech shift knob.
